Sales slow for Bozeman city vehicle plate
There are few takers for the Bozeman specialty private plates, even after a year of introduction. The plates were intended to raise money for parks and recreation. But it seems that the city has lost money on the venture. Brit Fontenot the city’s economic development and community relations director, who was disappointed with the vehicle plates sales, attributed the failure to lack of aggressive advertising promoting the plates for sale. The design of the plates costinng $40, was chosen after a contest.
