Low Number Private Plates

The Registry of Motor Vehicles in Massachusetts is holding a lottery for 161 low-number private plates. Over 8,000 applications were received for low-number plates last year. The deadline for the lottery is August 8th, and each person can only apply once. The lottery started several years ago in response to objections that low-number plates were only available for political affiliates.
