AED 16.9m fetched at the 72nd Number Plates Auction

Recently, Road & Transport Authority organized its 72nd distinguished vehicle number plates auction fetching over 16.9 million Dirham. According to Director of Vehicle Licensing, nearly 115 number plates were sold for various vehicles with more than 67 bidders, actively participating in it. In fact, event’s most prized private plates K-50 fetched 1.5 million Dirham with closest ones coming around 1 million Dirham. Due to its huge success under auspices of Director General of Orasia Auctioneers, RTA is planning such future events combining both online and public auctions, coming September.
