Above the law?: MPAs reject plea to abide by motor vehicle law
This article is about public officials in Karachi, Pakistan who seem to think they are above the law and were recently notified in a way that they are not. Arif Mustafa of the National Peoples Party reminded his fellow public representatives that they were breaking the law in having party flags and private number plates and name plates on their vehicles. Mustafa proposed a bill to allow it or stop what they were doing with the plates but the Pakistan People Party rejected it, apparently believing that it was an attack on their privileges.
